Ingredients:
1-1 ½ lb. fresh trimmed asparagus 1 lb. pkg. linguine ½ c. butter 1 small onion sliced 1 clove garlic minced 1/8 tsp. pepper ¼ c. grated parmesan cheese 2 TBL. chopped parsley
Instructions:
Cut asparagus into 1" pieces. Cook pasta according to pkg. In a large skillet over med heat, melt butter. Add asparagus and onion. Saute 5 min. stirring frequently. Add garlic and pepper. Cover and continue to cook another 3-5 mins. or til tender. Drain pasta and place in large heated pasta bowl. Add asparagus and toss well. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and parsley. This is an excellent side dish with your favorite grilled meats or poultry!!!!
