Packalope's Favorite Recipes

  Pumpkin Crunch Torte  
Ingredients:
1 16 oz. can pumpkin
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
½ tps. pumpkin pie spice
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 yellow or vanilla cake mix
½ c. melted butter
1 cup of chopped pecans

Instructions:
Mix pumpkin,pumpkin pie spice, eggs, sugar, and milk well in a bowl. Pour into a greased 9x13inch pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Pat down lightly. Drizzle melted butter over cake, trying to cover completely. I use a spoon to spread butter evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 mins. Serve with whipped cream. Enjoy! This is great for the Holidays!
